In Žilina, from June 29 until July 2, the tenth annual international festival Fest Anča took place. Guest were able to view, in addition to other series, the art film titled Animals in the Main Role, which was the curator’s pick from visual artist Matěj Smetana.

In cooperation with Vitrína Deniska / Deniska Display Case and the KonText (TIC) gallery of Brno, the opening for the exhibition from Olomouc artist (c) merry took place on Tuesday, June 27.  

Komplexní instalace s živou akcí, videi  a performance Spiritual Fitness, kterou představil absolvent UMPRUM Jakub Jansa na loňském PAFu, se dočkala reflexe v České televizi.

The end of May in Olomouc will belong to the Italian conceptual art. The group of four artists under the aegis of Czech radical conceptualist Vladimir Havlik will introduce the third modification of their extensive project Dialogos, which they decided to spread between the white-cube of Galerie Caesar and the independent exhibition space Vitrína Deniska (co-produced by PAF).

Thursday, May 4, 2017 – Hraničář gallery hosted a film exhibition organized by PAF. The guest speaker of the evening program was the art curator and art theoretician Karel Císař.

PAF has published an anthology by A Morphologists’ group.

Monday, April 3, 8 p.m. – Art Cinema in Brno screens contest entries for Other Visions CZ 2016. The selection of audiovisual works will be introduced by the coordinator Nela Klabajnová.

PAF published the authorial book Special Circumstances.The authors Jan Šrámek and Jana Kořínková aimed to raise awareness of the gradual vanishing of post-war sculptures from the public space. The book launch took place on Wednesday March 29th 2017 in PRAHA / Forum for Architecture and Media in Brno.

The first year of the Slovak competition of moving image – Other Visions SK 2016 – was presented at the Winter Film Festival and Seminar 4 Elements in Banská Štiavnica.
